Lanes Closed after Collision near Buena Vista Road

HOLLISTER, CA (January 11, 2019) – Major injuries were sustained in a in multi-car crash on eastbound Highway 156, Friday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 7:25 AM, just east of Buena Vista Road. Based on their report, three vehicles were found at the scene. A semi-truck was found off the roadway and a black car was recovered with significant damage. A Ford F-150 was also involved in the incident.

The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They confirmed that there were injuries sustained in the pile-up. They described the victims’ conditions as serious.

The eastbound lanes were closed while clearing and recovery operations took place in the area. An investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the accident. No other details were gathered as of report time. Additional information will be released once available.
