Phoenix, AZ (November 21, 2020) – On Thursday, 53-year-old Magdalena Valenzuela died in a pedestrian accident on 16th Street and East Baseline Road.
 
The fatal crash happened at about 5:15 a.m when Valenzuela was hit by a vehicle as she was walking in the crosswalk against a red light.
 
Responders rushed her to a hospital where she later died.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver stayed at the scene.
 
Police said there were no signs of impairment
