Pedestrian Louis Rosales Dies after Hit by Suspected DUI Driver Stefanie Bieser in Anaheim
ANAHEIM, CA (February 11, 2019) – A 54-year old man died after being struck by a car near Disneyland Park in Anaheim after 11:00 p.m. Saturday.
The Fresno victim who was killed in the accident has been identified as Louis Rosales, according to the Orange County Coroner’s Office.
Anaheim police Sgt. Daron Wyatt said Stefanie Lyn Bieser was driving a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser north on Disneyland Drive when she jumped the curb and struck Rosales as well as a utility box and a tree.
Authorities said the victim was walking south on the east sidewalk of Disneyland Drive when he was struck.
Rosales was transported to UCI Medical Center where he was pronounced dead due to the major injuries he sustained.
Police say Bieser, 47, of La Mirada, was arrested on charges of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated and driving under the influence causing bodily injury. She was booked at the Anaheim Detention Facility on bail of $100,000.
