Injuries Reported in Merced Multi-Vehicle Crash on G Street and Cardella Road
MERCED, CA (January 23, 2022) – Friday night, authorities arrested Lori Gallo after a DUI accident on G Street and Cardella Road.
The high-speed crash involving four vehicles happened on G Street and Cardella Road. When the officers arrived, they found 47-year-old Lori Gallo who crashed a 2022 Maserati in a ditch.
The authorities found that Gallo drove under the influence of alcohol. Also, she had a blood alcohol content over twice the legal limit. Thus, authorities arrested Lori Gallo for Felony DUI collision causing injury. Then, they booked her into Merced County Jail.
According to investigators, Gallo traveled at least 125 mph. Then, she tried to pass a Lexus traveling south on G Street. However, she drove too close and side-swiped the Lexus. Eventually, they fell into a ditch several hundred feet away.
Moreover, a 4th vehicle sustained damages after hitting a tire and wheel that were torn off the Maserati.
