Lorene Negrete Killed in Fresno Tractor-Trailer Accident on East Lincoln Road
Fresno, CA (November 26, 2020) – On Wednesday, 57-year-old Lorene Negrete of Del Rey died, while police arrested 29-year-old Pardeep Singh of Fremont for the crash on East Lincoln Road and South Temperance Avenue.
The fatal Fresno accident happened at about 6 p.m. near Fowler.
CHP officers said the tractor-trailer driver, Singh, didn’t see Negrete’s car approaching and pulled out in front of the car.
As a result, the tractor-trailer and the car crashed.
Authorities pronounced Negrete dead at the Fresno crash scene.
Meanwhile, CHP said alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the incident. Also, they mentioned that all involved in the crash were wearing seatbelts.
Police said Singh cooperated with the investigation. He will be facing charges of vehicular manslaughter.
