Long Wells Dies in Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Collision on 84th Avenue South at Highway 167
KENT, WA (January 8, 2019) – A 46-year-old woman perished at the scene of a hit-and-run pedestrian collision on 84th Avenue South at Highway 167 Tuesday morning.
The deadly incident unfolded at approximately 5:20 a.m. Washington State Troopers say 46-year-old Long Duc Wells was possibly attempting to cross at the marked crosswalk on 84th Avenue South at the northbound Highway 167 ramp when she was hit.
The driver who struck Wells failed to stop, leaving her with grave injuries. Wells died several moments later.
Investigators have no description of the vehicle involved but are seeking the public’s help in locating the suspect’s whereabouts.
