Driver Flees Deadly Pedestrian Collision in Long Beach
LONG BEACH, CA (December 5, 2018) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver Tuesday night at East 67th Street and Long Beach Boulevard.
According to Lt. T. Lopez of the Long Beach Police Department, firefighters and Long Beach officers responded to the scene around 10:30 p.m. to find a male pedestrian. Officials pronounced the victim dead shortly after.
It was not clear how the incident happened, but authorities are searching for the driver who fled after striking the man. Anyone who has insight into this crash is urged to call Long Beach police at (562) 570-7260.
