Logan Lyman Dies in 3-Car Crash on Missouri Flat Road at Golden Center Drive
PLACERVILLE, CA (April 25, 2019) – An 18-year-old man died in a three-car crash Tuesday night on Missouri Flat Road at Golden Center Drive.
According to California Highway Patrol, officials identified the victim as Logan Michael Lyman.
An investigation proved that the 18-year-old man had been speeding on Missouri Flat Road before failing to stop at the red light at Golden Center Drive. Subsequently, Lyman’s car drifted into the opposing lane and crashed into a Subaru and Porsche.
Lyman died at the scene, officers confirmed, while the other drivers sustained minor injuries.
At this time, CHP officers are investigating whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
