Lisa Richards and Andres Delaluzpacheco Killed in Vehicle Crash on State Route 24 [Yakima County, WA]

Yakima County, WA (April 24, 2022) – On Saturday morning, Lisa Richards, 59, of Union Gap, and Andres Delaluzpacheco, 21, of Yakima, lost their lives in a vehicle crash on State Route 24.

The Yakima County Fire District #4 and WSP officers responded to the crash scene at 8 a.m. to milepost 26.

When they arrived, they located Richards and Andres Delaluzpacheco dead. 

According to the investigators, Andres Delaluzpacheco was westbound on a vehicle driven by Francisco Delaluzpacheco, 18, when their vehicle collided with an eastbound vehicle driven by Richards.

Unfortunately, Richards and Andres Delaluzpacheco did not survive this accident. 

Officers say Richards was not wearing a seatbelt when the accident happened.

Moreover, Francisco Delaluzpacheco was able to walk away from the scene. Rescuers took him to a nearby hospital.

The authorities say it doesn’t appear drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash.

They added that charges against Francisco Delaluzpacheco are pending.
