Leonardo Flores Detained Following DUI Accident on Highway 99 Near Shanks Road
DELHI, CA (January 27, 2020)—Two people suffered major injuries in Friday’s suspected DUI crash on Highway 99 near Shanks Road.
According to officers, police responded to the scene around 10 p.m. to find a 2012 Ford Fusion that had crashed into a tree. California Highway Patrol officers say Leonardo Flores, of Livingston, lost control of the Ford after traveling south on Highway 99 and then allowed the vehicle to hit a tree on the shoulder of the roadway.
Flores, of Livingston, as well as his passenger, suffered major injuries. Officers subsequently arrested him on charges of DUI.
