At Least 1 Hurt in 2-Vehicle Rollover Crash on 5 Freeway near Camp Pendleton [Oceanside, CA]

Injuries Reported Following 2-Vehicle Rollover Crash near Camp Pendleton

OCEANSIDE, CA (November 19, 2018) — At least one person was hurt Sunday morning when two vehicles collided and rolled over into an embankment off the 5 Freeway near Camp Pendleton.

Based on the reports from the California Highway Patrol, the driver of a silver car lost control of the vehicle and clipped another car on northbound 5 Freeway, just past Las Pulgas Road, past 11 a.m on Sunday.

Both cars overturned into an embankment and several drivers pulled over to help pull the occupants out of their respective vehicles. They were able to get out safely even before CHP officers and firefighters arrived at the scene.

One person reportedly sustained minor injuries from the crash. No one was seriously injured.
