MOUNT VERNON, WA (July 28, 2022) – Wednesday morning, Larry Wagar died in a pedestrian crash on Interstate 5 near Milepost 225.
 
The incident occurred at about 4:48 a.m. on southbound Interstate 5 near milepost 225.
 
According to reports, 32-year-old Lakvhir Singh drove a southbound 2022 Volvo Semi towing a 2015 refrigerated trailer. Then, 62-year-old Larry Wagar of Sedro-Woolley walked in front of the Volvo. Then, Singh failed to stop in time and hit Wagar.
 
As a result, Larry Wagar succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, Singh Lakhivar and his passenger, 23-year-old Karanvir Singh sustained no injuries in the crash.
 
Officers listed Pedestrian in the Roadway as the cause of the crash.
