Multiple-Vehicle Collision Occurs Amid Flooding near Nut Tree Parkway

VACAVILLE, CA (December 25, 2018) – Traffic lanes were closed after a multi-car crash on eastbound 80 Freeway, Tuesday evening.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 11:35 PM, just west of Nut Tree Parkway. Based on their report, there were three vehicles involved in the incident. Airbags were deployed in a white sedan found under the backs of two unknown cars.

The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. Fortunately, no injury was recorded from the involved motorists.

All lanes were temporarily blocked due to the commotion and major flooding in the area. Towing services were requested for cleaning and clearing operations immediately took place. The cause of the collision is currently under investigation, and additional information will be disclosed to the public, once it becomes available.
