Lanes Closed after Multi-Car Crash on 5 Freeway [Anaheim, CA]

Three Vehicles Involved in Collision near 91 Freeway

ANAHEIM, CA (December 31, 2018) – Lanes were closed after a multi-car crash on northbound 5 Freeway, early Monday morning.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place at approximately 4:50 AM, just north of 91 Freeway. Based on their report, three vehicles were involved in the incident. The parties were identified as a yellow Isuzu SUV, a silver sedan and a black BMW.

The paramedics were called for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding any injury sustained by the involved motorists.

The SUV reportedly acquired major damages. The westbound to northbound lanes of the freeway were closed while clearing and recovery operations took place in the area. The cause of the pile-up is not yet known and additional information will be released once it becomes available. The accident remains under investigation at this time.
