Three Vehicles Involved in Crash on 80 Freeway

 
DAVIS, CA (June 16, 2019) – Lanes closed after a fiery multi-car crash on eastbound 80 Freeway, early Sunday evening.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision took place near the Richards Boulevard off-ramp around 6:25 PM. Based on an initial report, a black sedan, a small blue SUV and a blue pickup truck crashed in the pile-up. One vehicle caught fire in the incident.
 
The paramedics arrived for needed medical attention. They had not yet released a report regarding any injuries sustained by the involved motorists.
 
The No. 1 and 2 lanes closed while rescue and clearing operations took place in the area.
 
An investigation is still on-going to determine the cause of the commotion.
