Traffic Stalled after Corona Auto Accident on 91 Freeway
CORONA, CA (May 11, 2020) – A big rig crash on 91 Freeway closed multiple lanes in Corona on May 8, the authorities reported.
The California Highway Patrol revealed that the involved big rig was hauling gravel.
Due to the crash, four lanes were shut down for around four hours during the cleaning up of the spill. The authorities also closed one of the toll lanes.
According to CHP, they received a report of the crash Friday morning, just before 7:00 a.m. east of Maple Street. However, by 11:30 a.m., all the lanes have since reopened.
Meanwhile, other cars were affected in the original crash. At this time, the authorities have not disclosed the cause of the crash. It’s also unclear whether the incident led to injuries.
