Lance Christian Dies in Overturned Crash on Moreno Avenue Near San Vicente Avenue
LAKESIDE, CA (January 30, 2019) – The man who was found dead in an overturned crash involving a stolen car on Moreno Avenue near San Vicente Avenue Sunday has been identified.
Lance Xavier Christian was 27 years old when the 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, in which he was an occupant, veered off the road and struck a tree after heading northbound in the 11000 block of Moreno Avenue.
California Highway Patrol Personnel were dispatched to the scene just after the 4 a.m. crash to find Christian partially ejected and pinned underneath the overturned SUV. Paramedics pronounced him dead shortly after.
Investigators determined that the Chevrolet Tahoe was reported stolen back in September. Since Christian was found partially thrown out of the vehicle it was unclear if he or someone else had been operating the vehicle. An investigation of this deadly crash is underway.
