LAKE ARROWHEAD, CA – Pedestrian Struck, Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on Highway 330 Near Mile Marker 34

Man Fatally Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Lake Arrowhead

 
LAKE ARROWHEAD, CA (January 25, 2019) – A 50-year-old Apple Valley man was fatally struck by a hit-and-run vehicle on Jan. 17 along Highway 330 near Mile Marker 34.
 
The unidentified deceased victim was found by a passerby who immediately called 911. Arrowhead Area California Highway Patrol said the pedestrian was traveling northbound on the highway when he was struck by a vehicle that cast him nearly 50 feet ahead.
 
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and his identity will be released once next of kin have been notified.
 
Authorities are seeking the public’s help in locating the driver and vehicle involved. Anyone with insight is urged to call Arrowhead CHP at (909)867-2791.
