Police Pursuit Ends in DUI Crash on Highway 178, Officers Arrest Kimberly Juarez
Bakersfield, CA (April 03, 2021) – On Thursday, officers arrested 29-year-old Kimberly Juarez in a pursuit that ended in a DUI crash on Highway 178.
The incident took place minutes after 6 p.m. when deputies tried to pull her over.
However, Juarez kept going and exited onto Mount Vernon Avenue as deputies followed.
Juarez was accused of running a red light at Potomac Avenue and colliding with another driver. She sustained serious injuries in the crash and officers took her to Kern Medical before being placed under arrest.
Meanwhile, the other driver involved in the crash was not injured in the accident.
Finally, they booked her for possession of a stolen vehicle evading officers, and DUI.
