Driver Dies in Kia VS Chevrolet Crash on Interstate 10 Freeway in Bloomington
Bloomington, CA (October 3, 2022) – Early Sunday morning, a driver died in a fiery two-vehicle crash on Interstate 10 Freeway.
The fatal crash in Bloomington happened at around 2:06 a.m. on October 2.
CHP said a 2016 Kia Optima stopped in the center median of the freeway for unknown reasons, then the driver of a 2016 Chevrolet Tahoe veered left into the center median, colliding with the Kia.
Moreover, the impact caused both vehicles to be engulfed in flames.
The Kia driver sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet suffered minor injuries.
Investigators said alcohol/drugs were not factors in this crash.
Further investigation into this crash is ongoing.
