Mount Vernon Man Kevin Seal Hospitalized after State Route 9 Crash

 
Snohomish County, WA (April 29, 2021) – On Tuesday, 46-year old Kevin Seal of Mount Vernon was injured in a hit-and-run crash on State Route 9.
 
The Washington accident took place at about 8:50 p.m. at the intersection of 256th Place, north of Arlington.
 
Authorities said Seal was walking on the northbound shoulder of State Route 9 when an unknown vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, Seal was thrown into the ditch, while the suspect vehicle immediately fled the scene.
 
Moreover, emergency responders rushed him to Providence Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
 
Furthermore, Kelly Wride witnessed the incident. She posted on the Snohomish County Crime and Community Facebook Group that she saw a man in all black clothes, walking north on the highway down the center of the northbound lane around 8:40 p.m. and thought it was strange.
 
Similarly, a second witness, Stephanie Lee, posted that she also saw a man walking north on Highway 9 on the side of the road around 8:10 P.M.
 
Meanwhile, Washington State Patrol Trooper Rocky Oliphant said the suspect vehicle should have significant damage on its front.
