KENNEWICK, WA – 8 People Injured in 82 Freeway Crash Near Coffin Road

8 Hospitalized Following Multi-Car Crash in Kennewick

 
KENNEWICK, WA (February 12, 2019) – Eight people were hospitalized, including one in critical condition, following Saturday’s multi-vehicle crash on the 82 Freeway near Coffin Road.
 
Eight people were transported to Kadlec Regional Medical Center following a crash during blizzard conditions.
 
Around 4:15 p.m., Washington State Patrol Trooper Chris Thorson said multiple patients were brought to a nearby hospital including one in critical condition. Five people were shuttled by an ambulance and three by private vehicles.
 
One person was reportedly in critical condition and is fighting for his or her life at Kadlec.
 
The circumstances and events leading to the crash are under investigation.
