Kelsey Walker Hospitalized Following Two-Vehicle Collision on Plank Road Near Foster Road
TOPPENISH, WA (December 21, 2018) – A 21-year-old woman is fighting for her life after her vehicle struck a car and plunged into a ditch on Plank Road near Foster Road Monday.
Kelsey Walker was driving along Plank Road near Foster Road around 7 a.m. when she lost control of her white Dodge Caliber and hit an oncoming Ford F-250 pickup before veering into a ditch.
Her fiancé, Dylan Sheehan, was traveling behind her and witnessed the crash. Sheehan immediately pulled the seriously injured 21-year-old from the car and called 911. She was unconscious when she was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Per reports, she suffered a broken neck bone and brain hemorrhaging. Police believe ice and fog played a role in the crash, yet it is still too early to determine whether anyone will be cited.
