Multiple Injuries Reported in Spokane Auto Accident near North Oak Street and West Carlisle Avenue
SPOKANE, WA (July 23, 2024) – On Friday, authorities arrested Keian Henry after a disastrous vehicle crash near North Oak Street.
The two-vehicle incident happened near North Oak Street and West Carlisle Avenue.
According to the Spokane Police, a vehicle that was traveling at a high rate of speed collided with an armored SPD car.
Authorities confirmed that seven police officers and a K9 sustained injuries in the crash, but were expected to make a full recovery.
Officers arrested and booked the driver of the vehicle, identified as 21-year-old Henry, into jail for vehicular assault and attempting to elude a police vehicle and additional charges.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
Due to the limited information available, the Spokane Police Department continued to investigate the crash.
