Katherine Pisesky Injured, Hector Cisneros-Ramirez Arrested in DUI Wrong-Way Crash on Highway 101 in Healdsburg

Katherine Pisesky Hospitalized, Hector Cisneros-Ramirez Detained in Wrong-Way 3-Car Wreck on Highway 101 Near Westside Road

 
HEALDSBURG, CA (January 17, 2019) – Five people were injured Sunday in a wrong-way three-car crash involving a DUI driver on Highway 101 near Westside Road.
 
Katherine Pisesky had just wrapped up her evening shift at Sutter Lakeside Hospital in Lakeport and was heading southbound on Highway 101 in her 2015 Volkswagen Beetle. Meanwhile, 38-year-old Hector Omar Cisneros-Ramirez, of Healdsburg, was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes around 1 a.m. before he crashed his 2016 Ford Focus with Pisesky’s Volkswagen at a high rate of speed.
 
A 2018 GMC Sierra pickup truck, driven by a man who had two passengers inside, was also involved in the wreck.
 
Pisesky, of Forestville, suffered severe trauma including head injuries and was found unconscious and pinned in her vehicle. She was subsequently brought to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. The GMC occupants were taken by an ambulance to Sutter Hospital with minor injuries.
 
Cisneros-Ramirez was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and causing injuries, as well as having two misdemeanors for reckless driving and violating probation. After being treated at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for his minor injuries, he was booked into Sonoma County Jail.
