Katharine Bradford Strikes, Kills Motorcyclist on Lodge Road Near Wintermute Lane
TOLLHOUSE, CA (April 15, 2019) – A 64-year-old man died in a motorcycle collision Saturday afternoon on Lodge Road near Wintermute Lane.
According to reports, the 1 p.m. accident happened in front of Sierra High School.
The unidentified motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Lodge Road on a 2007 Suzuki Motorcycle. However, as he navigated a bend on the roadway, he crossed into the opposing lane of traffic, turned on his right side and hit a 2000 Ford Ranger.
Katharine Bradford – the 43-year-old driver of the Ford – tried avoiding the rider but was unsuccessful.
Per the CHP news release, the motorcyclist died at the scene while the Clovis woman escaped injury.
More on this crash is under investigation by authorities.
