Kamren Bey Dies in Two-Vehicle Collision on 15 Freeway Near Magnolia Avenue
CORONA, CA (July 1, 2019) – A 29-year-old Corona man lost his life Friday in a high-speed crash on the 15 Freeway near Magnolia Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on the 15 South Freeway. A speeding driver in a Kia Forte plowed into the rear of a truck hauling cement.
The driver, later identified as Kamren Bey, suffered fatal injuries while the driver of the truck escaped harm.
Per CHP Officer Juan Quintero, alcohol consumption by the Kia driver was said to be a factor in the crash.
Due to the 4:40 a.m. collision in the No. 4 lane, crews had to shut down three lanes until 7:30 a.m. No other information was available.
