Police Arrest 40-Year-Old Judith Medrano Nava on Sand Mush Road Fatal DUI Crash

 
Merced, CA (March 13, 2021) – On Thursday, a 17-year-old girl died and police arrested 40-year-old Judith Medrano Nava in a DUI crash on Sand Mush Road.
 
The fatal accident took place minutes before 8 p.m. at the intersection of Combs Road.
 
Officers said Nava swerved off the road and her vehicle overturned. Her passenger was thrown out of the vehicle and the wreck ended on top of her.
 
Furthermore, reports said the unidentified victim was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
 
Moreover, authorities found Nava under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
 
They booked her into Merced County Jail for felony DUI.
 
Meanwhile, authorities continue to investigate the accident.
