Single-Vehicle Wreck Claims Life of Juan Vega-Alvarado on 66th Avenue and Polk Street

 
THERMAL, CA (January 18, 2019) – A Monday night rollover crash at 66th Avenue and Polk Street claimed the life of a 26-year-old man.
 
Juan Carlos Vega-Alvarado died at the scene of the solo-car crash, which happened around 10:52 p.m. County firefighters were dispatched to the crash site to extricate the 26-year-old victim from the wreckage. He was pronounced dead at 11:15 p.m.
 
There were few details regarding the events leading to the crash. Authorities are still unsure how the incident happened or whether alcohol or drugs played a role.
