Juan Gonzalez Arrested in Reckless DUI Crash on Leggett Street [Porterville, CA]

Injuries Reported in South Leggett Street DUI Traffic Accident

Porterville, CA (March 30, 2023) On Tuesday, police arrested 32-year-old Juan Gonzalez Cervantes of Porterville, after a DUI crash on Leggett Street.

According to Porterville police, the DUI traffic accident happened in the 100 block of South Leggett Street.

Reports say that 2 vehicles collided and caused serious injuries to one of the drivers involved.

First responders found a a driver with critical injuries and immediately transported the patient to a hospital.

Meanwhile, authorities spoke with the other driver, identified as Juan Gonzalez Cervantes, and was observed with symptoms of being under the influence.

The Porterville Police completed a field sobriety test on Cervantes, which the results later determined his blood alcohol content to be .21%.

Police arrested Cervantes and booked him into the Tulare County Jail for DUI that resulted in a collision with injuries.
