Cottonwood Man Scott Joyce Injured in DUI Accident River View Drive

 
Cottonwood, CA (March 31, 2021) – On Tuesday, 27-year-old Jovana Sanchez of Cottonwood lost her life in a deadly DUI crash on River View Drive.
 
Sanchez was traveling north near Antelope Creek Drive in Cottonwood.
 
Reports said she was speeding and abruptly turned. As a result, she lost control and crashed into a tree.
 
Unfortunately, she was not wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash. She died due to her injuries.
 
Moreover, 26-year-old Scott Joyce of Cottonwood was an occupant in Sanchez’s car.
 
Rescuers took Joyce to Mercy Medical for his injuries while his current condition is unknown.
 
Meanwhile, officers consider alcohol as a factor in the crash.
