Joseph Polston Killed in Mountain View Pedestrian Crash on El Camino Real

Joseph Polston Hit, Killed by Motorist on El Camino Real Near Yuba Drive

 
MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA (February 7, 2019) – A transient was fatally struck by a motorist on Jan. 28 on El Camino Real near Yuba Drive.
 
The 8:50 p.m. crash happened in the 100 block of East El Camino Real. Authorities say the vehicle was traveling westbound on El Camino Real when it struck 61-year-old Joseph Polston, who had just stepped off the sidewalk.
 
Polston was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver stayed on site and cooperated with investigators. There were no details concerning the cause or circumstances.
