Joseph Chastain Fatally Struck by Car at Lakewood Drive North and Kendall Drive

 
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (May 3, 2019) – A San Bernadino resident identified as Joseph Chastain, died following a pedestrian accident on Lakewood Drive North.
 
According to reports, the accident befell around 8:08 p.m. First responders arrived to the area soon after receiving multiple dispatch calls.
 
The details leading up to the accident are currently unclear at this time. However, reports indicate that Chastain suffered fatal injuries due to the impact of the collision.
 
Paramedics transported the 39-year-old victim to Community Hospital of San Bernardino’s emergency department. In spite of life-saving efforts, Chastain died around 8:58 p.m.
 
There were no reports regarding the cause of the crash, but the San Bernardino Police Department is still investigating this case.
