Jose Toro Involved in Fatal Crash on Bena Road and Neumarkel Road [Bakersfield, CA]

1 Killed in Bakersfield Auto Accident on Bena Road

 
BAKERSFIELD, CA (June 16, 2020) – Last Sunday, Jose Toro was involved in a fatal crash on Bena Road and Neumarkel Road.
 
After the investigation, the California Highway Patrol found out that Jose Toro driving a 2016 BMW M428i west on Bena Road approaching Neumarkel Road.
 
Meanwhile, a 21-year-old man driving a 2003 Subaru WRX traveled east on Bena Road approaching Neumarkel Road.
 
For unidentified reasons, Toro weaved out of his lane and drove into the other lane and into the path of the Subaru. Then, the two vehicles crashed head-on.
 
As a result, the Subaru driver died at the scene.
 
Moreover, Jose Toro and a Subaru passenger sustained minor injuries and received treatment at Kern Medical Center.
 
The authorities continue to investigate the fatal crash. Also, the police suspect that alcohol played a role in the incident on Toro’s part.
