37-Year-Old Jose Garcia Dies in Fir Avenue Hit-and-Run Crash

 
Moreno Valley, CA (February 15, 2021) – On Saturday, 37-year-old Jose Garcia of Moreno Valley died in a deadly hit-and-run crash on Fir Avenue.
 
The fatal incident took place a little before midnight near the intersection with Perris Boulevard.
 
Authorities said an older white two-door Pontiac Grand Am traveling northbound struck Garcia while he was crossing Perris Boulevard.
 
The Pontiac along with a purple Scion XB slowed down and pulled to the side of the road but drove off eastbound on Fir Avenue.
 
Meanwhile, the authorities continue to investigate the incident.
