Jordan Pomares-Boen Arrested, Bicyclist Dead after Riverbank DUI Accident
RIVERBANK, CA (April 8, 2019) — A bicyclist succumbed to his fatal injuries following a suspected DUI collision in Riverbank on Thursday, April 4.
According to Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Sgt. Joshua Clayton, the accident occurred at about 11:30 a.m. on Claus Road in the area of California Street.
24-year-old Jordan Pomares-Boeh was driving down Claus Road when he veered to the side of the road. Then his vehicle collided into a man riding a bicycle.
Clayton reported that the bicyclist died at the scene. Authorities have not yet released his name.
Officers arrested Pomares-Boeh on suspicion of felony DUI causing death. They booked him into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center.
