66-Year-Old Joni Paige Dies in Tully Road Pedestrian Accident [Modesto, CA]

Modesto, CA (January 13, 2024) – 66-year-old Joni Paige of Modesto was killed in a Tully Road pedestrian accident Wednesday.

Officers said it was around noon on January 3 when Paige was walking westbound on Bowen Avenue. Unfortunately, she was hit by a vehicle driven by another 66-year-old woman as she crossed Tully Road in a marked crosswalk.

Paige was then transported to Doctors Medical Center where she succumbed to her injuries on January 5.

The driver remained at the scene and officers said drugs and alcohol do not appear as factors in the collision. Witnesses are requested to contact traffic safety officer Brad Beavers at [email protected].
