Jonathan Gonzalez Fatally Injured in Firebaugh Rollover Accident

 
FIREBAUGH, CA (September 17, 2019) – A man identified as Jonathan Gonzalez died after a rollover accident on Monday, September 16.
 
The collision happened at about 2:00 a.m. on 13th Street near River Drive. Authorities said that 21-year-old Gonzalez, of Madera, drove his Chevy pickup truck and then struck a guardrail. After that, it spun out across a bridge over the San Joaquin River.
 
It’s not yet determined at this point what is the reason why the Gonzalez to lose control and roll the vehicle. Authorities suspect alcohol as a factor in the crash, Raygoza said. The department is awaiting coroner results.
 
Firebaugh Police is still investigating the incident.
