John Alonzo Jr. Perishes in Motorcycle Collision With Car on West Lathrop Road Near North Union Road
MANTECA, CA (November 26, 2019) — A motorcyclist died Sunday evening following a crash on West Lathrop Road near North Union Road.
Around 6:47 p.m., Manteca police officers responded to the 1100 block of West Lathrop Road. Arriving officers, along with paramedics, rendered life-saving measures to a 38-year-old gravely injured motorcyclist.
Unfortunately, the rider identified as John Alonzo Jr. died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, who collided with Alonzo’s bike, cooperated with officers, who still have not determined the cause of the incident.
More investigation of this crash is underway.
