Joel Magee Injured in 2-Vehicle Collision on Highway 108 [Sonora, CA]

Sonora, CA (February 4, 2022) On Wednesday, 63-year-old Joel Magee from Adelanto, was injured in a 2-vehicle collision on Highway 108.

The California Highway Patrol (CHP) says that the crash happened after a DUI collision 3 hours earlier that evening.

Authorities say that 44-year-old Shanon Hayes, from Twain Harte, was on a 2006 Toyota Camry attempting to pass Magee on a 2007 Toyota Tacoma pickup.

Moreover, reports indicate that Hayes lost control and hit the rear of Magee’s pickup.

Consequently, the collision caused both vehicles to flip causing minor injuries to both drivers.
