[UPDATE] Joan McKee Struck and Killed in Corona on 91 Freeway, Adrian Antonio Arrested
Corona, CA (April 18, 2021) – On Saturday, 71-year-old Joan McKee of Huntington Beach was killed in a car accident on the 91 Freeway.
Officers received the fatal crash report at 5:53 p.m. west of Main Street.
Reports said a red Ford minivan drove recklessly prior to the crash, and a woman was down in the fast lane.
Rescuers pronounced Joan McKee dead at the crash scene.
Meanwhile, officers stopped a white sedan, blue minivan, blue SUV, orange pickup, and a silver minivan at the scene. It was unclear which, or if any, of the vehicles were involved in the accident.
Authorities later reported that a Fontana driver, Adrian Antonio, 41, drove under the influence (DUI), causing the deadly accident.
Police arrested him once medical personnel released him from the hospital.
