1 Killed and 3 Hurt in Ventura DUI Accident on Highway 101
VENTURA, CA (December 21, 2021) – Early Saturday morning, authorities arrested Jesus Manuel Calles after a deadly DUI crash on Highway 101.
According to authorities, the incident happened at around 3:05 a.m. on Highway 101.
Reports revealed that a southbound 2007 Honda Accord traveled on the northbound lanes. Then, it collided with a northbound 2008 Nissan 350. Moments later, a 2017 GMC Sierra struck the Nissan.
Moreover, responders pronounced the Nissan driver dead at the scene. Then, three people sustained minor to moderate injuries in the crash.
Furthermore, authorities arrested the Honda driver, 29-year-old Jesus Manuel Calles for DUI causing injury/death and gross vehicular manslaughter.
Meanwhile, the events leading to the crash remain under investigation.
