4 Hospitalized in Yakima County Auto Accident on State Route 12

 
YAKIMA COUNTY, WA (June 29, 2021) – Sunday afternoon, Jesualdo Castillo-Ortiz and three others sustained injuries in a crash on State Route 12.
 
According to Washington State Patrol, the incident happened at around 4:00 p.m. Moreover, it occurred on westbound State Route 12 near milepost 186.
 
Reports revealed that 32-year-old Jesualdo Castillo-Ortiz drove a vehicle westbound on State Route 12. Then, he crashed into an eastbound car that had stopped for traffic. Then, it crashed with another vehicle in the opposite lane.
 
Furthermore, responders transported Castillo-Ortiz and three of his passengers to a nearby hospital for treatment.
 
Meanwhile, WSP said that the incident is due to Castillo-Ortiz following too close.
 
Also, officials do not believe that drugs and alcohol played a role in the crash.
