Jessica Bachman Among Injured, Pablo Orellana Arrested Following DUI Two-Car Collision on Highway 99 Near Westover Road
RED BLUFF, CA (April 17, 2019) – Four people sustained injuries in Saturday’s DUI crash on Highway 99 near Westover Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, Pablo Rivera Orellana was driving southbound in a Toyota Corolla. Traveling near the Walmart Distribution Center, the 51-year-old man allowed the car to travel into the oncoming lane and hit a northbound 2011 Dodge RAM.
Jessica Bachman, 40, of Red Bluff, was driving the Dodge pickup with a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, whom she was transporting home from their prom.
According to CHP, both cars sustained significant damage. Bachman and the boy suffered minor injuries while the girl suffered moderate injuries.
Orellana, however, sustained major injuries, including internal injuries and head trauma. Police arrested him on DUI charges and driving while unlicensed.
