Pablo Rivera-Orellana Arrested in DUI Head-On Collision near Wal-Mart Distribution Center
RED BLUFF, CA (April 13, 2019) – A woman and her two teens were injured following a DUI head-on crash late Saturday evening in Red Bluff.
The crash happened around 11:46 p.m. on Highway 99, a mile South of Wal-Mart Distribution Center.
According to reports, a 51-year-old Pablo Rivera-Orellana of Red Bluff was driving a Toyota Corolla southbound when he swerved into the opposing lane and collided head-on with a northbound Dodge Ram truck, driven by a 40-year-old Jessica Bachman.
Bachman was driving her two teens, a 14-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy, home from their high school prom. She sustained minor abrasions from the crash. Her young boy also had minor wounds, while the girl suffered injuries to her knee, back, neck and head.
Rivera-Orellana was found by arriving paramedics with internal injuries and major head trauma. He was rushed to a hospital and was later arrested on suspicion of DUI and driving without a license.
Investigation of this incident is still ongoing.
