65-Year-Old Jeanette Mugford Dies after Hit-And-Run Crash on East Broadway Boulevard in Tucson

Tucson, AZ (October 28, 2022) –  Thursday night, 65-year-old Jeanette Mugford died in a hit-and-run crash on East Broadway Boulevard and East Old Spanish Trail.

The fatal hit-and-run crash in Tucson happened before 9:30 p.m. on October 27.

Tucson Police said Mugfard was crossing Broadway Boulevard through a marked crosswalk with an activated HAWK crossing beacon.

She died at the crash scene. However, the vehicle that hit her is still unknown.

No additional information is available at this time.

Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to call 911 or 88-CRIME, and you may remain anonymous.
