Injuries Reported in Visalia DUI Accident on Murray Avenue near Willis Street
VISALIA, CA (May 29, 2023) – Saturday night, authorities arrested Javier Diaz after an alarming 2-vehicle crash on Murray Avenue.
The incident occurred just before 11:00 p.m. in the area of Murray Avenue, between Willis Street and Johnson Street.
When the authorities arrived, they found two vehicles that had hit a house and went on to strike a power line which led to the subsequent power outage.
Eventually, they determined that 27-year-old Diaz drove in a westbound direction on Murry Avenue. Then, he allegedly rear-ended another vehicle, sending the cars into the house.
Officers clarified that no one inside the house sustained injuries. Meanwhile, responders took all occupants of the vehicles to a local hospital for their injuries.
Then, authorities arrested and booked him into the Tulare County Jail on suspicion of felony DUI.
