Jassin Williams Killed, Three Others Injured in Head-On Crash on Highway 29
Napa, CA (December 25, 2020) – On Wednesday, 50-year-old Jassin Williams of Clear Lake died, while three others were injured in a vehicle crash on Highway 29.
The fatal accident took place at about 12:35 p.m. north of Robert Louis Stevenson State Park and Mount Saint Helena.
A 2006 Lexus was traveling south when it crossed the solid double yellow line into northbound Highway 29.
As a result, it crashed with a 2013 Lexus.
Williams, a passenger in the 2006 Lexus, incurred fatal injuries. Authorities pronounced him dead at the Napa crash scene.
Meanwhile, the authorities airlifted the driver, 40-year-old Sean Spurlock also of Clear Lake to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. He sustained major injuries.
Furthermore, the 2013 Lexus driver, 35-year-old Steven Benedetti of Danville suffered major injuries. Responders took him by ambulance to Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa.
Benedetti’s passenger, 34-year-old Richard Benedetti also of Danville suffered major injuries. Rescuers airlifted him to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
The CHP said all parties were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
