1 Injured in Amboy Pedestrian Accident
AMBOY, WA (December 11, 2018) – A male resident of Yacolt sustained injuries after being hit by a car on December 8 near Amboy.
According to a WSP bulletin, 67-year-old Jack A. Abernathy who was crossing Highway 503 near Northeast 399th Street was hit by 50-year-old Lisa J. Kingsella of Vancouver in a 2015 Volkswagen Beetle at 6:36 p.m.
Abernathy was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center. He was listed in serious condition in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
Drugs or alcohol are ruled out as a factor in the collision. Charges were not made as of this time.
