Israel DeAvila Arrested in DUI Collision on Venice Boardwalk [Los Angeles, CA]

Los Angeles, CA (September 29, 2023) – A pedestrian was injured and driver Israel DeAvila was arrested following a DUI collision on Venice Boardwalk Monday.

DeAvila was caught on video drinking Modelo on Ocean Front Walk while driving on Rose Avenue where he struck and injured a pedestrian.

Police said he was driving and drinking a Modelo on Ocean Front Walk and struck the pedestrian at Rose Avenue. The victim sustained injuries 

Luckily, the victim wasn’t seriously injured but was assessed by paramedics at the scene.

DeAvila refused to get out of his car but the responding officers eventually got him out and arrested him for for driving under the influence and assault with a deadly weapon.

He’s scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
